This is hard to say! I've been writing stories for years before I started Demons Within, and this visual novel is just a new, cooler way to tell a story for me. :)
If I could say I have any inspirations, it would perhaps be Shelter since following its creation and development was definitely what pushed me into telling a story in a visual novel format myself as well!
Sleth your work is amazing, can't play this game without wanting to play the new update in the same instant, awesome character and story. I also wanted to know if we will have the option of choosing not to influence or having different ways of doing it more often, i like it the way it is now but it would also be interesting if we had more freedom or choices of influencing or not, in different ways :)
The game is amazing and one of the only games im still following since there are only a few still progressing(at least that i know) and im super hyped for the next update, keep the nice job! <3
What do you mean by the choice of not influencing? In most instances of influences, there is already the option of just continuing the text forward and not interfering, which would be the choice of not influencing. As the game continues, the choices might expand a little, but too many choices often lead to too much branching and ripples into even more branching in the future, so I do my best to give choices while also keeping the story concise. It is still mostly a linear story after all.
Oh alright! I know the Symbols of a heart, warning sign, and skull have a specific meaning to the importance of the choice, but it's escaping my memory, I look forward to it! Thank you very muc
You should probably go further back in your save. There is more than one instance that can lead to a bad ending in that part and you might be stuck with a save after having already made the decision.
I've received more reports and found a bug around this part related to the warnings about the bad ending when playing on Android. Maybe that was the case?
At any rate, I already worked on a fix for this in case it happens. There's a point there where you have to infuse and tapping with the finger doesn't seem to work. Holding the finger down on the wheel seems to work, but that's not supposed to be that way! Maybe try that if you're still stuck!
We're very close to the public release of the new update (likely next week), so I'll ship that fix with that. Sorry for the inconvenience!
After playing the public version, I must say this FVN is outstanding! The author's writing is exceptional, the interactive elements are unexpected, and the storyline is captivating. I'm really looking forward to where it's headed. However, it seems Resnick still has a long way to go haha. I hope this FVN reaches its conclusion; good works deserve attention, and I'll do my best to promote it to my friends :)

Hii. I just disco eres this VN but It has a stranger bug or thing.
I Skip a little texts for check quickly sone scene, when I reach Ress with Ed sex and another day load a saved point before and reach That story point again, the scene not appears again, and I start the Game since first and I cannot GET see That scene never again, Ress does another thing with Ed controlling to the tiger and then only appears texts about another scene which not appears.
Sorry! I announced in the devlog for version 11's Patreon release that from now on, the public version of the previous version will be released at roughly the same time as the new Patreon version comes out! Therefore, version 11 will become public once version 12 comes out. It's in the works right now!
I hadn't played the game in about 2 years and I've caught up on everything so I'll have a bit to say. I really like the captain. Serious, charismatic, hot, strict but still caring and comforting towards his men. Each of his appearances is much appreciated. That said, I have my doubts about him, particularly because of the night Ludwig was cursed. I find it strange that, as captain, he didn't notice when two demons were fighting inside a soldier's room. I suppose he was affected by Sloth's spell. I find it frustrating that Resnick doesn't want to talk about the two suspicious individuals he saw. It's better to talk about it rather than wait for these two men to do something irreparable. Even if the captain or someone else doesn't believe him, at least he won't have any regrets. But I imagine that after everything that's happened to him, I can understand why he'd want to keep a low profile. Besides, the fact that he doesn't want to talk about it even to his own brother worries me. It gives me the impression that Russel is potentially suspicious, but i'm a bit paranoid, so it's probably nothing. In any case, the concept, the story and some of the characters (Garett ♥) are very interesting. I really like the way you've expanded the universe, particularly with the help of the purple words. I applaud this work!

Besides the history being good, the art is also awesome, and I liked how u make use of the UI, placing the text in the middle, but sometimes changing it, like the little texts that appear sometimes when u can influence someone

I really love this FVN, but there are too many new words in this game for me. And I read chapter 1&2 without the translation tools, it's too SLOW! So I gave up. Currently, I can read this visual novel in its entirety.

I'm having trouble running the latest public build (10.0). When I run the application, the game fails to load and gives an error code: 0xc000012f. I'm using the PC version on Windows 10.
Hmm, that's strange! I haven't had any other reports of this. I'd need more information to help you out! If you could please ask in our Discord server, it'd be easier to discuss. I think I'd need a screenshot of the whole error to guess what could be wrong.

I want to know why all my Memorium are unlocked. I've played everything in the public version, but everything is shown unlocked. And this problem has been plaguing me for the last six months since I started playing this game, with every version. I wonder if anyone else has been in this situation and I really want to see what's in the Memorium. (In addition, I am a Chinese gamer and use a Windows PC)
Hey! You mean everything in the Memorium is locked?
Some entries in the Memorium are unlocked just by going through the story, but most of them require clicking in the colored text during the story when you find it to view more information about what's highlighted. Once you click it once, it's unlocked in the Memorium forever. :)
I'm sorry for the typo, but what I meant was that everything in the Memorium was locked. And I'm pretty sure I've already played those things in the game (by using my demon powers for some purpose). But everything in the Memorium still can't be unlocked. I currently think it was probably because I used a plugin to translate the game into Chinese, and it might have conflicted with the game itself and prevented me from unlocking the Memorium. So I wanted to see if you've ever been in a similar situation. I guess I'll just have to try again for myself. Thank you for your patient answer. I hope you can do better and better.

Hey, I'm excited to tell you that I was able to unlock this version 10 update to Events. Although other parts of the Memorium remain locked, and all of the previous Memoriums cannot be unlocked. (I've already skiping Ludwig's route again and still haven't unlocked anything new.) I can't guess what the reason is, but I'd love to tell you about this development. If it doesn't bother you, I hope you can check if there are any changes in this update of Events.
That's good! Some of the events in Update 10 unlock automatically. This likely happens because of the plugin you mentioned that translated the game. Since the clickable things to unlock in the Memorium are part of the text and I'm guessing that this plugin ends up removing the links, therefore making them unclickable.
Maybe try going through the game without this plugin and you will see some text highlighted in pink sometimes. Those are the clickable memories that unlock them in the Memorium once seen.
I'll take note of your request, but I can't give certainty or an estimate as we're still early in the game's development and just looking into branching into other languages!
of the best novels I've read, I love how handle everyday life with its dose of lore, I think it's a perfect balance, I guess I would like to see a little more romance but maybe the story doesn't go in that line (I would love more closeness with Ludwig) but otherwise it's amazing and I hope continue with the project.
