It's time! Update 5 of Demons Within is already out on Patreon!

As always, we have the early release for Patreon supporters! As per our schedule, this means that in about a month after this early release, this same major update is going to come to the public! 

In the meantime, let's look at what the new update brings:

Update 5 Changelog

• Around 16k words of new content covering spending the Spare Day with Edwin and meeting two new Order soldiers
  • The new content of Edwin's day can be accessed by nudging Resnick to go with Edwin during the baths

• Demons Within's first CG is out! The events of the mercenary ambush and Resnick's trump card when fighting back have been enhanced with a brand-new CG animation

• New expressions, and new assets added to some existing sprites

• New memory unlockables added to the Memorium. Most of them in the new content, but one of them during Ludwig's day as well

• Added a new scene that plays when the player doesn't nudge Resnick to go with neither Edwin nor Ludwig. If the player doesn't make a choice, they will convince Resnick to go with one of them by themselves based on previous choices that have been made
  • *Note that people that might have had saves that were in the exact changed scenes that happened when you chose neither might experience weird behavior when loading them!

• When looking at the book on Ludwig's day, a new icon has been added on top of the pages that opens a new window that makes it easier to read the book's text for those that want to read it

• Fixed a bug where Resnick's Bedroom memory wasn't unlocking in the Memorium even when the player had already seen it before in-game

As soon as Update 5 is available to the public as well, I will announce it everywhere! In the mean time, you can check out Demons Within's discord server or at least take a look at Twitter to stay in touch with all the updates and news!
