Demons Within Update 5.5 is OUT!
Yes! Update 5.5 is out to the public!
I hope everyone will enjoy the end of Edwin's day and all the many possibilities that ended up being created around it. There are a lot of variation in this update so I hope people will try a bunch of them and find their favorite 'canon' events if they like. If you'd like to see the most content, do that! However, if you just prefer to play the story and have it react to whatever you feel is best, it'll be ready for it! I hope the outcome will be pleasing. ;)
As always, here's a list of what changed:
Update 5.5 Changelog
- Around 25k words of new story content. This is more than most updates so far! All of it is split between different variations on how Edwin's day can end depending on who you nudged Resnick into talking with earlier (Jayden or Boris) and how much you infuse people with Lust during the rest of the day.
- Demons Within's second CG is out! This one is also retroactive. I urge people to try playing through the first night Resnick had with Edwin at the beginning of the day. That scene as a whole has been slightly rewritten and improved with brand-new visuals.
- Added an interface button on the top right corner of the screen when a CG appears that allows players to hide the interface and text so they can appreciate the artwork as much as they want. This does the same thing as pressing the H key on the PC version (by default).
- Expanded most of the cast's sprites to add some variations and different stages of... excitement when things involving Lust are happening
- Small improvements to the game's interface with a new frame for information pop-ups (such as tutorials, prompts, etc)
Update 6 has been in the making for a few weeks now and it's going smoothly. The writing is almost done and, along with it, I plan on bringing a whole bunch of exciting stuff that I think everyone will enjoy! Not only in terms of features, but also in terms of moving the story forward. Updates 6 and 7 will be very important. In fact, I feel like so far we've only seen the tip of the iceberg. A bit of an introduction to things. I'm very excited to move the plans forward as the story and everything else continues in the near future!

Something's amiss
its gone
Apologies! This is a reported bug that happens when you load a save that was around that time in the story because of some changes in Boris' sprite!
This won't happen when starting new games and stuff. Sorry for the inconvenience in that regard!
I play on Android (naturally comes with a lack of space), so every time I download DW, I start a new game. And it still happened.

upd: Fuck, it was so good, so much diversity in smut is not something you read everyday. But for me, highlight of new update is the last expression Edwin makes in a new CG (when Ress doesn't take it too far). I definitely want to see more of that Edwin.
